Google's YouTube Ads Creative Optimization team is revolutionizing YouTube Ads through Machine Learning and Generative AI to empower advertisers with creative optimization solutions that automatically generate and optimize high-performing ad creatives, impacting Google's business and its advertisers.
Requirements
- 8 years of experience in software development.
- 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products, and 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
- 5 years of experience with one or more of the following: Speech/audio (e.g., technology duplicating and responding to the human voice), reinforcement learning (e.g., sequential decision making), ML infrastructure, or specialization in another ML field.
- 5 years of experience with ML design and ML infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, model evaluation, data processing, debugging, fine tuning).
- Experience with Generative AI, including large language models (LLMs) and diffusion models.
- Experience leading complex, cross-functional projects from conception to launch.
- Experience working as a Tech Lead or in a similar leadership role.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and infrastructure for creative generation and optimization.
- Lead technical discussions and drive the team's engineering roadmap for ML-powered features.
- Work with Generative AI models to create novel ad formats and experiences.
- Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers on the team.
