Drivemode is looking to build the future of electric vehicles (BEV) for millions of people around the world by developing a new generation of companion apps and backend services for the Honda and Acura brands, aiming to make vehicles a thousand times smarter, safer, and more connected.
Requirements
- Experience with the development of customer-facing apps at scale, involving prototyping, creating, and maintaining features from concept to production
- Experience creating readable, thoughtful, and maintainable code
- Experience utilizing asynchronous programming, multi-threading, dependency injection, and reflection
Responsibilities
- Develop a multiplatform vehicle companion app for iOS and Android using Kotlin Multiplatform, Jetpack Compose, and SwiftUI
- Lead technical discussions, feature development, and architecture reviews
- Pair with managers to define a technical vision and roadmap for the app
- Drive system design and architecture
- Own the breakdown of complex problems into simple development tasks
- Build prototypes to validate the feasibility of requirements and to test new ideas
- Design APIs and SDKs together with external teams
