Marvell is looking to hire a Hardware and Silicon Validation Staff Engineer to help deliver high bandwidth over long distances by performing analog validations on amplifiers that drive optical electronic devices and receivers, validating silicon photonics, doing upper electronic measurements, and supporting the coherent digital signal programming unit.
Requirements
- Pre-Si Validation, Post-Si Validation, Stress & PVT testing.
- Excellent in debugging skills and a good understanding of analog and digital circuits.
- Working knowledge of Ethernet and PCIe is a plus.
- Proficient in Python scripts and lab equipment such Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzer, Network Analyzer, TDR and BERTScope.
Responsibilities
- Characterize PHY IP blocks to validate proper functionality and optimize for best performance.
- Create, maintain, and improve code to support new features and standards.
- Work with Design, DSP, FW, and Validation teams to debug any issues and identify root cause on failure cases.
- Create and review test plans and prepare test result documents distributed internally and externally.
- Document test reports, issue list and test methodology.
Other
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 3-5 years related professional experience and/or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, and at least 2-3 years related professional experience.
- Able to work across disciplines and manage time across multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
