Requirements
- 8+ years of product design experience, including significant time working on complex enterprise applications or AI/ML-driven products.
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates human-centered design solutions for technical or ambiguous problem spaces.
- Expertise in interaction design, UX, and prototyping; ability to simplify complex workflows into elegant solutions.
- Experience designing for developer platforms or technical tools is a strong plus.
- Comfortable collaborating with engineers and product managers on cutting-edge AI use cases.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end design of applied AI use cases — from exploration and ideation to prototypes and polished experiences.
- Shape the developer experience for our Agentic AI platform, designing components, patterns, and workflows that accelerate AI adoption.
- Partner with product managers, engineers, and researchers to define how AI-powered features should look, feel, and function.
- Translate complex AI capabilities (LLMs, RAG pipelines, agent frameworks) into clear, human-centered experiences.
- Build and evolve design systems and reusable patterns for AI experiences across Okta.
- Mentor other designers, sharing best practices for designing with emerging AI technologies.
- Work closely with India- and US-based teams as part of one global design and engineering effort.
