Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing mobile-first design work
- Deep expertise in native design languages, with a strong focus on Android and complementary experience in iOS
- Proficiency with Figma
- Experience designing for privacy, security, and accessibility in mobile applications
- Ability to balance user needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility in design decisions
Responsibilities
- Lead UX efforts for major initiatives in Firefox Mobile, with a strong focus on visual craft and interaction design
- Design and prototype intuitive, accessible, and visually compelling mobile experiences that support Firefox’s core values of privacy, security, and performance
- Create design storyboards, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate intent and for conducting qualitative and quantitative research
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and research teams to align design decisions with business objectives, technical feasibility, and user needs
- Advocate for mobile-first UX best practices, ensuring high usability across different devices and screen sizes
- Contribute to and evolve the Design System, ensuring consistency and usability across mobile platforms
