The Monetization Creative GenAI team is redefining the future of advertising creative experience on TikTok by developing GenAI-powered creative production and optimization tools to address the challenge of producing high-quality creatives at scale.

Requirements

  • Extensive years of product design experience, with at least 2 years in consumer-facing platforms or content moderation systems.
  • Proven ability to design complex creative, GenAI, or productivity tools at scale; familiarity with the ads domain is a plus.
  • Strength in defining design strategy and navigating ambiguous problem spaces.
  • Commitment to high-quality, meticulously crafted visual and interaction design, with sharp attention to detail.
  • Deep passion for GenAI, creativity, and the future of digital advertising.

Responsibilities

  • Drive innovation at speed: Stay ahead of emerging technologies and translate them into impactful design solutions.
  • Lead Symphony Creative Studio: Own the end-to-end design of our flagship product, shaping product strategy and translating it into a clear, actionable design roadmap.
  • Design AI-native experiences: Define and champion design frameworks, patterns, and principles that make creative production seamless, intuitive, and impactful across Creative GenAI products.
  • Simplify complexity: Translate advanced AI capabilities into simple, elegant, and effective creative tools for advertisers.
  • Shape product strategy: Partner with PM, Engineering, UXR, Content Design, PMM, and Data Science to align design direction with business and product priorities.
  • Build from 0→1: Bring vision and clarity to brand-new product spaces, guiding ideas from concept through launch.
  • Lead and mentor: Provide thought leadership in design critiques, coach junior designers, and elevate the overall craft quality of the team.
