Requirements
- 8+ years of experience as a Staff-level designer with a portfolio that showcases exceptional consumer-facing work across mobile and web
- 01 experience or a founder-like mindset—comfortable building from scratch, shaping vision, and working in ambiguous spaces
- Craft excellence—raising the bar for UI design, visual storytelling, and interaction quality
- Systems-minded, able to scale thoughtful experiences while maintaining clarity, consistency, and delight
- Fast-moving prototyper and a strong believer in experimentation and user research to guide design decisions
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design of a brand-new product experience within the DoorDash ecosystem
- Navigate ambiguity with confidence, helping to define product principles, user journeys, and a cohesive design language
- Establish and elevate the visual and interaction design standards for a new class of social interfaces
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to bring clarity and alignment to complex, evolving problem spaces
- Drive a rapid prototyping and experimentation culture—testing ideas early, learning fast, and refining direction based on customer feedback and data
- Shape how millions of customers find inspiration and connection through DoorDash
