Illumina is seeking to expand access to genomic technology to realize health equity for billions of people around the world, and this role is part of that effort to lead the Arrays product portfolio and drive product lifecycle management, market adoption, and new product conception.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in product management, preferably in genomics, diagnostics, or life sciences
- Experience with Array technologies and customer-facing roles is highly desirable.
- Knowledgeable in Agile methodologies and product development frameworks and or project management background.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills
- Proven success managing complex product portfolios and cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry or another related field required.
- Advanced degree in Science or Management is a Plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for array products, aligning with commercial goals and customer needs.
- Partner with Sales, R&D, Marketing, and Operations to ensure successful product launches and sustained market performance.
- Engage with field teams (Global) and key accounts to gather insights, resolve issues, and drive adoption.
- Own product lifecycle processes including forecasting, supply planning, and issue resolution.
- Monitor the competitive landscape and emerging technologies.
- Define and execute go-to-market plans in collaboration with Marketing and Sales.
- Build and present business cases for new product investments, including market sizing, revenue projections, and ROI analysis.
