GoFundMe is searching for a Staff Product Manager with consumer fintech experience to build innovative financial tools that will enable individuals to manage their charitable donations with ease and efficiency.
Requirements
- Have at least 8 years of hands-on experience in product management, with gradually increased responsibility
- Have at least 3 years of experience working on a consumer (b2c) product, with a proven track record of leading the entire product lifecycle or key features and driving measurable impact.
- Can translate complex concepts into clear, actionable product plans that resonate with cross-functional teams.
- Are comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, driving clarity and focus on what matters.
- Have demonstrated leadership experience, managing complex product roadmaps and collaborating with multiple departments to bring innovative products to life.
- Are data-driven and use key metrics to guide product iterations and decision-making.
- Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a knack for articulating technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop and drive product and growth strategy for our new wallet product, aligned with the company's vision and growth objectives.
- Lead the full product development lifecycle, from conception to launch, collaborating with engineering, design, legal, finance, compliance, and marketing teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
- Own the product roadmap and prioritize features based on user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.
- Conduct deep market and user research to understand the competitive landscape, regulatory environment, and customer needs, shaping the product to meet market demands.
- Work closely with stakeholders across legal, compliance, and finance to ensure the product meets regulatory and risk management requirements.
- Define and deliver key performance indicators (KPIs) for the product and use data-driven insights to iterate, improve, and optimize the user experience.
- Own the product launch and drive go-to-market strategy in collaboration with marketing and growth teams, ensuring a successful launch and scaling post-launch.

- Candidates considered for this role will be located in the San Francisco, Bay Area.
- There will be an in-office requirement of 3x a week.
- MBA from a top school and/or management consulting experience at a top firm are a major plus.
- Are passionate about using innovation to empower people in their charitable giving.
- Able to work from our offices in San Francisco and collaborate in person with our teams, at least 2 days a week.
