GoFundMe is looking for a Staff Product Manager with consumer fintech experience to build innovative financial tools that will enable individuals to manage their charitable donations with ease and efficiency, working with a passionate cross-functional team to deliver meaningful financial and charitable experiences for users.

Requirements

  • Have at least 8 years of hands-on experience in product management, with gradually increased responsibility
  • Have at least 3 years of experience working in fintech and/or financial services, with a proven track record working on back-end financial systems including ledgers, pay-ins, pay-outs, wallets, reconciliation, data, integrations with 3rd party systems and more.
  • Are data-driven and use key metrics to guide product iterations and decision-making.
  • Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a knack for articulating technical details to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive product and growth strategy for our new wallet product, aligned with the company's vision and growth objectives.
  • Lead the full product development lifecycle, from conception to launch, collaborating with engineering, design, legal, finance, compliance, and marketing teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Own the product roadmap and prioritize features based on user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.
  • Conduct deep market and user research to understand the competitive landscape, regulatory environment, and customer needs, shaping the product to meet market demands.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across legal, compliance, and finance to ensure the product meets regulatory and risk management requirements.
  • Define and deliver key performance indicators (KPIs) for the product and use data-driven insights to iterate, improve, and optimize the user experience.
  • Own the product launch and drive go-to-market strategy in collaboration with marketing and growth teams, ensuring a successful launch and scaling post-launch.

  • There will be an in-office requirement of 3x a week.

  • Have demonstrated leadership experience, managing complex product roadmaps and collaborating with multiple departments to bring innovative products to life.
