Liftoff is seeking a Product Manager to enhance their Supply-Side Platform (SSP) by leveraging machine learning to optimize auction dynamics and improve the supply ecosystem, aiming to maximize yield and efficiency for partners and clients.
Requirements
- Solid comprehension of ML concepts and experience collaborating with MLEs to integrate ML solutions into products.
- Strong data analysis capabilities with a track record of making data-driven product decisions.
- Proven experience in designing, analyzing, and optimizing auction-based systems within digital advertising ecosystems. (Nice to have)
- One year focused on supply-side platforms, programmatic advertising, or related fields. (Nice to have)
- Experience in hands-on machine learning or data science.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the product roadmap for Liftoff's Yield SSP, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market needs.
- Analyze and enhance auction mechanisms to maximize yield and efficiency for our partners and clients.
- Collaborate with Machine Learning Engineers to incorporate sophisticated ML models into the SSP to enhance ad targeting, bidding strategies, and the platform's overall efficiency.
- Work alongside engineering, data science, sales, and marketing teams to ensure seamless product development and deployment.
- Translate complex ML and technical concepts into clear business insights for both technical teams and non-technical senior leadership.
- Define key goals (KPIs) and regularly review data to track product performance. Adjust strategies as necessary to meet business objectives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to inform product strategy and maintain a competitive edge.

- Educational Background: 8 years related experience with a Bachelor's; 6 years with a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Industry Experience: Minimum of 5 years in product management roles, with at least 2 years of experience in hands-on machine learning or data science.
- Communication Skills: Great at making complex technical concepts understandable to everyone, including top managers and non-technical individuals.
- Leadership & Collaboration: Takes charge in teams made up of different roles. Actively works to solve problems and oversees projects.
- This role is eligible for full-time remote work in California or near one of our US hubs in Redwood City or Los Angeles. This position should be located in the Pacific Time Zone.
