Requirements
- Lean Six Sigma experience including working knowledge of FMEA, 8d, Kaizen, and SPC control methods
- Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, Quality Auditor certifications a plus
- Data mining and analysis skills
Responsibilities
- Own all aspects of supplier quality for assigned component, assembly and contract manufacturing suppliers globally
- Engage throughout the product lifecycle, internally and with suppliers, to assure supplier quality outcomes meet all requirements
- Develop and deploy supplier and contract manufacturer quality management strategies.
- Investigate supplier quality issues to determine root cause and identify/implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Issue SCARs, ensuring supplier engagement and responsiveness
- Participate in defining and managing assurance strategies and plans to reduce parts DOA events at manufacturing and customer sites
- Prevent supplier quality escapes and ensure prompt and effective issue resolution
- Manage process and product change notifications (PCNs) from suppliers, in order to meet internal and customer requirements
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
- 7-10 years’ experience in a technology industry
- 3-5 years supplier quality or quality engineering experience
- Leadership and technical skills
- Proven problem-solving skills
