Ursa Major is looking to accelerate how they design, build, and test rocket engines by generating new business intelligence applications within Palantir's Foundry platform. The goal is to establish standards for building, testing, developing, and deploying these applications, and to guide the company towards a healthy data ecosystem.
Requirements
- 2+ years of Hands-on Experience with Palantir Foundry
- Strong understanding of data modeling principles and data warehousing concepts.
- 8+ years of Professional Software Development experience
- 3+ years of Data Engineering experience
Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain data pipelines using Palantir Foundry (Code Repositories, Contour, Ontology, etc.)
- Collaborate with Product Owner and stakeholders to design and build workflows, intuitive tooling, analytic workflows and dashboards
- Design and document data logic, lineage, and tooling for discoverability and maintainability
- Identify opportunities for system optimization and automation
- Develop Ontology objects to manage and reason over data within Palantir Foundry
- Configure and maintain data integrations from various source systems into Foundry.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices for Foundry development, proactively identifying best practices the team should adopt
