Ursa Major is looking to grow its internal software capabilities to accelerate the design, build, and testing of rocket engines, aiming to fly faster. This role will establish standards for building, testing, developing, and deploying new business intelligence applications within Palantir's Foundry platform and guide the company's approach to data engineering for a healthy internal data ecosystem.
Requirements
- 8+ years of Professional Software Development experience
- 3+ years of Data Engineering experience
- 2+ years of Hands-on Experience with Palantir Foundry
- Strong understanding of data modeling principles and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience working with manufacturing, industrial systems, or IoT data
Responsibilities
- Act as technical lead for the team
- Design, build and maintain data pipelines using Palantir Foundry (Code Repositories, Contour, Ontology, etc.)
- Collaborate with Product Owner and stakeholders to design and build workflows, intuitive tooling, analytic workflows and dashboards
- Design and document data logic, lineage, and tooling for discoverability and maintainability
- Identify opportunities for system optimization and automation
- Develop Ontology objects to manage and reason over data within Palantir Foundry
- Configure and maintain data integrations from various source systems into Foundry.
