Requirements
- Strong knowledge of computer equipment, storage, back-ups, operating systems and tools used in an operating environment required.
- Expert in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PPT).
- Ability to obtain applicable certifications.
Responsibilities
- Partners with other developers, analysts, and designers to develop new software programs and applications.
- Plans phases of the software development life cycle for assigned projects.
- Design, test, deploy and maintain one or more software products.
- Conduct research on emerging application development software projects supporting procurement and development efforts.
- Write, translate, and code software programs and applications according to specifications.
- Design software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.
- Perform software updates and testing.
Other
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field and 4 years related professional experience required or
- Associate degree and 6 years related professional experience required or
- High School Diploma/GED and 8 years related professional experience required.
- Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Travel: Yes, 5 % of the Time
