Ensure the consistent operation and reliability of the IKS AIR Platform across Intuit.

Requirements

  • Expert knowledge of Kubernetes architecture, networking, troubleshooting tools and automation
  • Significant experience in developing and managing Kubernetes systems and cloud-based architectures, such as AWS, GCP and Azure
  • Proven capability in software development with a strong grasp of programming languages such as Go, Python, Java, or NodeJS
  • Familiarity with cloud services, APIs, Docker, and modern development frameworks, such as Springboot, React, SQL / NoSQL
  • Understanding of contemporary best practices in engineering such as continuous integration/delivery, infrastructure as code, and automated testing
  • Experience with AWS EKS
  • Knowledge of containerization using Docker

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and implement capabilities, tools and processes that deliver highly available, scalable and reliable customer experiences
  • Build, operate, and scale services running on AWS EKS
  • Collaborate closely with Intuit Product and Platform Development Teams to plan, prioritize and design highly available cloud architectures
  • Contribute to critical platform components and drive operational excellence through automation, observability, and process optimization
  • Troubleshoot complex issues and effectively manage stakeholder expectations through clear communication and proactive updates
  • Participate in on-call and support rotations, driving incident recovery, resolution and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
  • Manage and maintain IKS AIR clusters hosting Intuit flagship products and platforms

Other

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
  • 7+ years of experience working in software development, production engineering, building and managing large-scale systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative approach to working in teams
