CloudZero is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to develop third-party integrations, with a focus on AI, to enhance their platform's data harvesting, transformation, and rendering capabilities.
Requirements
- 8+ years building and maintaining complex backend systems in cloud environments.
- Experience working with large-scale data systems and pipelines.
- Comfortable working in Python—our primary backend language.
- Strong SQL skills; experience with Snowflake is a plus.
- Pragmatic systems thinker who applies design patterns effectively.
Responsibilities
- Design individual implementations for our third-party adapters and think about a way to scale our architecture to enable rapid onboarding of new third-party tools.
- Emphasize creating individual components for testing and local development.
- Write clean, maintainable code with a strong focus on performance, quality, reliability, and total cost of ownership.
- Continuously improve our platform and engineering practices to enable fast iteration, high team ownership, and impactful product delivery.
