Northrop Grumman is seeking a Staff Engineer Software to support Research and Advanced Design (R&AD) activities for the Joint All Domain Command and Control (JADC2) Directorate, focusing on developing advanced technological ideas and guiding their development into final products and demonstrations using cloud technologies, AI/ML, and other optimization methods.
Requirements
- Experience with version control and collaborative development tool suites
- Demonstrable expertise with Java or C++ and scripting languages (bash, python, yaml)
- Writing micro-services in event driven architecture using containers and container management, Helm Charts, Cloud Platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing and deployment
- Experience with the development and application of AI/ML algorithms
- Knowledge and familiarity of software and systems engineering
- Significant experience using/developing in a Linux environment
- Experience with DoD Open Architecture solutions such as Open Mission Systems

- Working with internal business partners to gather requirements, prototyping, and creating complex solutions supporting joint all domain command and control (JADC2) advanced studies utilizing cloud technologies, AI/ML and other optimization methods as it applies to JADC2.
