The business problem is to develop and maintain ServiceNow Enterprise Asset Management product, which provides a complete end-to-end solution for enterprises to manage the lifecycle of their assets, covering various functionalities like purchasing, inventory, maintenance, work management, shipping, contract, warranty coverages, etc.

Requirements

  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving
  • Experience and deep understanding of designing, modifying, and debugging large scale enterprise applications
  • System Design and Database design experience is a must
  • Experience in Java, java script, XML, RDBMS, SQL
  • Advanced knowledge experience working with relational databases including development, troubleshooting and performance optimization
  • Exposure to any of the modern UI frameworks like Angular, React or Vue is a great plus
  • Experience with data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance/scale considerations

Responsibilities

  • Build high-quality, clean, scalable and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes (Code Reviews, Unit testing, etc.)
  • Work with the product owners to understand detailed requirements and own your code from design, implementation, test automation and delivery of high-quality product to our users
  • Design software that is simple to use to allow customers to extend and customize the functionality to meet their specific needs
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of new products and features while also enhancing the existing product suite
  • Be a mentor for colleagues and help promote knowledge-sharing

  • 8 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years’ experience; or equivalent
  • Ability to lead and manage projects with material technical risk at a team level
  • Due to the nature of this role and its alignment with U.S. Federal customer requirements, only candidates who are U.S. Citizens, U.S. Naturalized Citizens, or U.S. Permanent Residents (Green Card holders) will be considered
  • Successful completion of the USFedPASS (U.S. Federal Personnel Authorization Screening Standards) process, which includes: A credit check, A criminal/misdemeanor background check, A drug screening, Verification of U.S. work authorization
