The Public Sector Digital Services team needs to build scalable applications that support government agencies, serving millions globally. They are expanding their impact and require engineers to contribute to building applications using the NOW framework and grow into technical leadership roles.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience with JavaScript, and Java or a similar OO language
- Extensive experience in designing and optimizing database schemas to support scalable and efficient data structures
- Passion for JavaScript and the Web as a platform, reusability, and componentization
- Experience with any of the modern UI frameworks like Angular, React or Vue
- Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
Responsibilities
- Lead engineers through the full development cycle, driving on-time delivery of high-quality products or solutions
- Proven experience in architecting and implementing robust database schemas for complex applications
- Build high-quality, clean, scalable and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes (Code Reviews, Unit testing, etc.)
- Work with the product owners and designers to understand detailed requirements and own your code from design, implementation, test automation and delivery of high-quality products to our users.
- Be a mentor for colleagues and help promote knowledge-sharing

- This position will include supporting our US Federal customers.
- This position requires passing a ServiceNow background screening, USFedPASS (US Federal Personnel Authorization Screening Standards). This includes a credit check, criminal/misdemeanor check and taking a drug test. Any employment is contingent upon passing the screening.
