Requirements
- Deep expertise in modern JavaScript/TypeScript*, Node.js, and front-end frameworks (React, Next.js, etc.).
- Proven experience designing and scaling complex web applications or platforms.
Responsibilities
- Set the technical vision, design scalable systems, and contribute hands-on to the codebase when needed.
- Champion engineering excellence — from code quality and testing practices to deployment pipelines and system reliability.
- Guide a team of engineers, designers, and PMs — coaching them through technical decisions, career growth, and best practices.
- Work closely with leadership and product teams to translate ambitious goals into clear technical roadmaps.
- Own critical initiatives and deliver measurable outcomes aligned with company milestones (tied directly to equity incentives).
Other
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, with significant time in leadership or staff/principal roles.
- Track record of successfully leading and mentoring teams of 10+ engineers* in a high-growth environment.
- Strong product sense — able to work closely with design and product to ship impactful features quickly.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative leadership style.
