The Central Engineering Software Group at Arm is looking to develop and improve the software eco-system around Arm's next generation of applications processors.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a DevOps/Infrastructure engineering position, preferably involving use of cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP
- Experience of delivering solutions using virtualisation and containerisation technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, OpenStack, Rancher, and Harvester
- Knowledge of automation and “Infrastructure as Code” tooling such as Terraform & Ansible
- Experience of maintaining a lab/server room environment, including device installation, Unix (Linux) Systems Administration, OS provisioning and configuration management.
- Strong understanding of security best practices and SDL
- Experience of developing CI/CD pipelines using common DevOps tooling (Jenkins, Gitlab, BuildBot, Gerrit)
- Experience of DevSecOps, zero trust architecture, policy-as-code and Software Bill of Materials
Responsibilities
- Providing software build and test solutions catering to different market segments such as Mobile, Server, IoT and Automotive
- Lifecycle management of core project infrastructure, from design through to deployment, maintenance, and performance optimisation
- Continuous improvement of workflow quality, security, and efficiency
- Customer support, providing timely analysis and resolution of issues, requirements analysis and task breakdown
- Communication & collaboration with engineering IT, software development teams and the open source community
