The Access Analysis team's mission is focused on providing customers awareness about how and why they do or do not have access to resources on the ServiceNow platform, as well as insights and simulations to modify access and how that impacts their security.
Requirements
- Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving.
- Experience designing, building, and shipping software to production environments
- Proficiency in debugging tools and resolving product issues
- Strong proficiency in Java or similar object-oriented languages
- Experience developing applications in JavaScript
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and performance optimization
- Strong analytical and design skills
Responsibilities
- Build high-quality, clean, scalable and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes (Code Reviews, Unit testing, etc.)
- Own your code from design, implementation, test automation and delivery
- Collaborate with your fellow developers, and on other teams, and quality engineering peers
- Contribute to both new products and features while also enhancing the existing product suite
- Shape intuitive user experiences and customer journeys across our product suite
- Troubleshoot customer environments and debug code
- Explore and integrate ServiceNow AI capabilities into our products
Other
- 8+ years of software engineering experience; or 6+ years with a Master’s degree
- A proactive mindset and strong initiative
- A collaborative spirit and curiosity to ask questions and learn continuously
- A track record of supporting customers with critical production issues
- Experience mentoring engineers and guiding technical decisions
