Google is looking to solve the problem of revolutionizing the intersection of data analytics and artificial intelligence by designing next-generation software services that will bring the power of ML and GenAI to the forefront of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Data Analytics.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience with ML design and ML infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, model evaluation, data processing, debugging, fine tuning)
  • 8 years of experience in software development
  • 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products, and 3 years of experience with software design and architecture
  • 8 years of experience with data structures/algorithms
  • Familiarity with GCP services especially Data Analytics Services and Vertex AI

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the design and development of large scale software services that revolutionize data analytics, with a focus on Machine Learning and Generative AI applications.
  • Collaborate closely with technical leads to launch innovative solutions leveraging the power of Large Language Models, Agents and other advanced AI techniques.
  • Navigate unexplored areas by prototyping and researching solutions for groundbreaking ML projects in BigQuery.
  • Engage with product managers and customers to decipher requirements and translate them into actionable technical specifications, while identifying opportunities to integrate ML and Generative AI solutions.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
  • 8 years of experience in software development
  • 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction
  • 3 years of experience working in an organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects
