Requirements
- Hands-on experience in Generative AI initiatives and practical integration into production software.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, Go, C++, or JavaScript.
- Expertise in data structures, algorithms, design patterns, relational and NoSQL databases, and caching solutions.
- Experience with APIs (REST, gRPC), message queuing, data streaming, workflow frameworks, and microservices.
- Proficiency in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Experience with AI model deployment, closed and open-source Generative AI libraries, and distributed ML systems.
- Experience with distributed application environments
Responsibilities
- Apply Generative AI techniques to enhance existing software and develop intelligent new features.
- Integrate AI models into production systems, ensuring robust implementation, error handling, and test coverage.
- Evaluate and select AI models, tools, and frameworks based on performance, maintainability, and business impact.
- Lead design and code reviews for AI-enhanced applications, enforcing best practices and technical standards.
- Mentor engineers and foster practical AI adoption across multiple teams.
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and cross-functional teams to translate AI opportunities into actionable solutions.
- Drive technical strategy and vision for AI integration across distributed systems and cloud-based platforms.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3 years leading multi-team initiatives in distributed application environments.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
- Experience mentoring engineers and promoting operational excellence, including performance, scalability, maintainability, and observability.
- Fully remote flexibility across the United States.
