Requirements
- Python proficiency
- Experience developing evaluation frameworks, machine learning models, or robotics systems
- Experience with classical robotics (e.g. 3D geometry or prediction algorithms)
- Experience with ML techniques (e.g. reward modeling)
- Experience with statistical methods (e.g. hypothesis testing)
- Experience with infrastructure
- Robotics domain knowledge
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy algorithms to measure the performance of the ML models that power our self-driving car's behavior, using robotics, physics, and machine learning.
- Work cross-functionally with ML and Infrastructure engineers to set the technical roadmap that will continuously improve and unify the evaluation frameworks across Nuro.
- Leverage the evaluation algorithms and frameworks our team builds to identify ways to improve the performance of NuroDriver and then drive the technical execution of such improvements.
Other
- BS in Computer Science, Robotics, Statistics, Physics, Math or another quantitative area
- 4 years of industry experience
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical projects from design to completion
- Ability to work cross-functionally with ML and Infrastructure engineers
