Requirements
- Extensive Experience: 8+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with a focus on building large-scale platforms for web applications.
- Proven expertise in developing complex, distributed services using languages such as Python, Golang, or Java.
- Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Architect a configurable benefits platform that enables rapid rollout of new benefit types without shipping new code—own schemas, validation, pricing rules, and self-serve configuration.
- Unify fragmented systems across regions by defining a shared data model and executing phased migrations (shadowing, dual-writes, safe rollback) to deliver a single global experience.
- Close feature and integration gaps for SMBs by prioritizing customer-impacting work and measuring outcomes via adoption, win-rate, and retention.
- Build tools and insights for brokers and admins, including utilization dashboards and proactive alerts that highlight under-used benefits and drive engagement.
- Influence across boundaries—align infra, security, compliance, and product teams; communicate tradeoffs clearly; build consensus and keep the program on track through delivery.
- Design and develop high-quality software products, driving architectural decisions and overseeing the complete product delivery lifecycle.
- Coordinate cross-team collaborations, integrate customer feedback into the product engineering roadmap, and drive successful delivery execution.
