Google is looking to solve the problem of revolutionizing the intersection of data analytics and artificial intelligence, and needs a software engineer to design next-generation software services that will bring the power of Machine Learning and GenAI to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Data Analytics.
Requirements
- Experience in Generative AI (Large Language Models, Multi-Modal, Large Vision Models).
- Experience with machine learning algorithms, tools, artificial intelligence, deep learning, natural language processing or other ML disciplines.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, Data Analytics Services and Vertex AI.
- Experience with data structures/algorithms.
- Experience with software design and architecture.
- Experience testing, and launching software products.
- Experience in software development.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop large scale software services that revolutionize data analytics, with a focus on Machine Learning (ML) and Generative AI applications.
- Collaborate with technical leads to launch innovative solutions leveraging the power of Large Language Models, Agents and other advanced AI techniques.
- Navigate unexplored areas by prototyping and researching solutions for groundbreaking Machine Learning projects in BigQuery.
- Engage with Product Managers and Customers to decipher requirements and translate them into actionable technical specifications, while identifying opportunities to integrate ML and Generative AI solutions.
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.
- Research, explore, and develop solutions that will bring the power of Machine Learning and GenAI to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Data Analytics.
Other
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 8 years of experience in software development.
- 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products.
- 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
