Requirements
- 5 years of experience designing, implementing, and operating production-grade autoscaling or capacity management systems for large-scale distributed services.
- 5 years of experience in Resource Management, Query Execution, or Distributed Scheduling within a data platform, cloud infrastructure, or related field.
- 5 years of experience writing and debuging high performance multi-threaded code.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement autoscaling policies that masterfully balance cost and performance.
- Develop and refine sophisticated scheduling algorithms that distribute resources with millisecond-level precision across a global infrastructure.
- Create innovative solutions for managing idle capacity, ensuring that our customers extract maximum value from their investment in BigQuery.
- Work directly with customers to understand their needs, solve their most complex performance challenges, and build the features that will define the future of data analytics.
- Design, implement, and operate production-grade autoscaling or capacity management systems for large-scale distributed services.
- Experience in Resource Management, Query Execution, or Distributed Scheduling within a data platform, cloud infrastructure, or related field.
- Writing and debuging high performance multi-threaded code.
