Requirements
- Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Golang (preferred), Kotlin, Java, Python
- Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and distributed system design
- Familiarity with cloud-native infrastructure and tools, such as Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, and AWS services
- Ability to write high-quality, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Experience building Compliance solutions (KYC, KYB, KYT) or onboarding or identity platforms is a huge plus
- Familiarity with blockchain infrastructure and tokenization, custody, trading, and settlement of assets
Responsibilities
- Own the full software development lifecycle: Design, develop, test, and deploy high-performance, scalable brokerage solutions
- Tackle complex technical challenges: Break down ambiguous and intricate requirements into actionable technical tasks
- Balance trade-offs effectively: Navigate key engineering trade-offs, ensuring the right balance between MVP vs. enterprise-grade, time-to-market vs. long-term scalability
- Collaborate across teams: Work closely with Product, Growth, and other Engineering teams to align technical solutions with business objectives and customer needs
- Contribute to the future of brokerage at Paxos: Play a key role in shaping the next generation of crypto brokerage solutions
