Credit Acceptance is looking to improve business intelligence/data collection and analysis to increase the ease and efficiency of detecting bugs/defects
Requirements
- creating data models (conceptual, logical, physical)
- optimizing in-application SQL statements
- processing multi-dimensional datasets
- performing statistical analysis
- developing automated reports
- creating SSAS cubes
- integrating data sets, and ETL development
Responsibilities
- Design and develop software and improve existing code for business intelligence/data collection and analysis to increase the ease and efficiency of detecting bugs/defects
- Conduct impact analysis to proactively identify the impact of a change across multiple applications
- Perform experiments to test ideas, validate assumptions against needs, reach conclusions, and recommend solutions for application optimization
- Debug problems which arise in the production phase and propose effective solutions within specific applications and across multiple applications
- Act as a mentor to less-experienced software engineers, guiding them through reviews of code, designs, and documentation
Other
- Requires bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or any engineering field and five years of experience designing and developing software
- Required degrees must have been earned at institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent
- Telecommuting permitted
