Addepar is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Calculations team within its Core Product Engineering organization to build outstanding user experiences, powerful APIs, and sophisticated analysis and visualization tools for its global customer base of Financial Advisors and Wealth Managers. The team builds sophisticated financial math functions into Addepar, with an emphasis on scalability and performance, comprising the foundation of the analytics platform.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional backend software engineering experience
- Experience with server-side languages like Java, Python, or C++
- Experience with relational databases (MySQL, Postgres, SQL Server)
- Bonus: Experience working with high traffic distributed systems
- Bonus: Fullstack development experience and a desire to do greenfield javascript development for a primarily backend team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new financial concepts our product vision within a multi-functional team as we expand into new geographies
- Enhance the performance and capabilities of the core Addepar calculations engine, analyzing millions of transactions and securities every day
- Create innovative and impactful features that delight our users
- Collaborate on architecture designs, product features, and code reviews
- Own software features from inception through delivery
