Google is looking to develop next-generation technologies for its Augmented Reality (AR) ecosystem, specifically in the area of spatial sensing and calibration.
Requirements
- 8 years of experience in software development, and with data structures/algorithms.
- 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products, and 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
- 5 years of experience with computer vision (such as image classification and processing, object detection, visual search), video generation, or signal processing.
- 5 years of experience leading to machine learning design and optimizing machine learning infrastructure.
- Experience with sensor fusion.
- Experience with image processing.
- Experience with estimation.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.
- Provide technical leadership on high-impact projects.
- Develop next generation components within spatial sensing and calibration for the Augmented Reality (AR) Team.
- Work with stakeholders to define requirements and drive algorithmic design and implementation.
- Initiate, contribute, or lead new research collaborations with partner teams to deliver novel technical components.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field (preferred).
- Experience with stakeholder management.
- 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction (preferred).
- 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects (preferred).
