Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in full-stack software development
- Proficient in Ruby on Rails and React
- Proven experience with AI developer tooling and advancing AI-augmented development practices
- Proven experience with system design and monolithic architecture
- Experience with React, Ruby on Rails, AWS, Sidekiq, MySQL, Redis, Native iOS and Android
Responsibilities
- Work closely with product owners to design, implement and deploy systems to support and scale our registry and Shop experiences
- Prioritize and lead efforts to improve our tooling, systems, and software architecture
- Improve and help maintain existing systems
- Take on a pivotal role in providing technical leadership within the Commerce team, setting high standards for technical excellence, offering guidance on best practices, and actively contributing to technical planning and implementation
- Identify opportunities for new product initiatives founded in your knowledge of the technical landscape and web platform capabilities
- Collaborate with product and design teams to shape new product initiatives and deliver on complex new functionality
- Work with staff level peers across our engineering org to understand systemic bottlenecks, design architectural improvements, and roll them out with your team
