They look across Google's products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers, and strengthen existing systems, impacting important technical decisions across the company.
Requirements
- 8 years of experience in software development including C++.
- 5 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
- 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products.
- 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
- Experience in compilers, runtimes, and toolchains.
- 8 years of experience with data structures/algorithms.
- Experience with compilers, runtimes, system library and LLVM.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large scale software solutions.
- Help modernize and improve low-level functionality that’s present on our data centers and engineering workstations such as runtime and system libraries.
- Provide technical leadership on high-impact projects.
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Develop the next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another.
- Work on a specific project critical to Google’s needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve.
