Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience
- Experience technically leading large-scale systems and complex projects
- Strong technical judgment, with a focus on reliability, security, and scalability
- Experience with Python/Django, Golang, Postgres, Redis, Kafka
- Familiarity with financial systems or crypto trading infrastructure
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and AWS cloud architecture
Responsibilities
- Lead technical architecture and system design for Robinhood’s crypto trading platform
- Partner with product to shape the roadmap and long-term vision
- Collaborate across engineering teams to implement scalable and secure systems
- Drive design reviews, lead complex projects, and own critical technical decisions
- Elevate engineering excellence through mentorship, best practices, and hands-on problem solving
- Optimize systems for performance, availability, and operational efficiency
- Support recruiting and onboarding of engineers to grow the team
