Toast is looking to solve the business problem of enabling restaurants to build thriving, profitable first-party delivery channels while growing Toast's consumer business by enabling seamless integrations with third-party delivery providers and helping restaurants offer direct delivery through Toast’s Online Ordering channels.
Requirements
- Understanding of distributed event-driven systems
- Proven track record of technical leadership and collaboration on complex projects
- Hands-on experience building backend applications using Java, Kotlin, Scala, or other object oriented language(s)
- Expertise in database schema design; Familiarity with DynamoDB not required but a plus
- Passionate about solving complex problems and delivering impactful, scalable solutions
