Requirements
- Strong C or C++ programming skills
- Experience with embedded software development
- Familiarity with Linux Android environment
- Android git process and Android applications (APK) knowledge
- Experience with debugging techniques
- Strong knowledge of Linux kernel architecture and build tools
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
Responsibilities
- Ensuring the stability, reliability, and performance of Linux kernel and related systems
- Supporting / customizing / optimizing Qualcomm software for various Linux Android products
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues with customers
- Working on internal development platforms
- Driving tasks and working closely with various technology teams
- Documenting and training
- Collaborating with customer for troubleshooting and resolving issues
Other
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience
- Ability to work onsite in Santa Clara
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to transport between offices, buildings, and campuses up to ½ mile
- Ability to monitor and utilize computers and test equipment for more than 6 hours a day
