Google Cloud's AI Research team needs to address AI challenges motivated by Google Cloud's mission of bringing AI to various industries, aiming to push the state-of-the-art in AI and share findings with the broader research community. They also need to collaborate with product teams to bring innovations to real-world impact that benefits customers.
Requirements
- 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
- Experience with front-end languages (e.g., JavaScript or TypeScript).
- Experience leading front-end development at scale, with expertise in front-end frameworks (Angular, React, TypeScript) and system design.
- Experience building AI-powered product experiences and leveraging LLMs or other ML models to enhance user workflows.
- 1 year of experience leveraging AI tools or frameworks to accelerate development and engineering productivity.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex, scalable frontend systems for Google Agentspace, remaining engaged in coding and implementation.
- Set technical direction, architecture, and best practices to ensure high-quality, performant, and reliable user experiences.
- Leverage AI tools and frameworks to accelerate development workflows, optimize productivity, and deliver innovative product features.
- Partner closely with product, design, and research teams to translate AI capabilities into intuitive and delightful user-facing experiences.
- Drive cross-functional initiatives, influencing technical strategy and shaping the long-term goal of Agentspace's product roadmap.
- Develop the next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another.
- Work on a specific project critical to Google Cloud's needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve.
