Google's AI Rapid Response Team (AIRRT) is established to accelerate Google's AI adoption pace and maintain our engaged edge in an evolving external landscape by applying an AI-first mentality to critical business problems, aiming to deliver solutions 10x faster.
Requirements
- 8 years of experience in software development.
- 5 years of experience in testing, and launching software products, and 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
- 5 years of experience in leading ML design and optimizing ML infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, model evaluation, data processing, debugging, fine tuning).
- 2 years of experience with GenAI techniques (e.g., Large Language Models (LLMs), Multi-Modal, Large Vision Models) or with GenAI-related concepts (language modeling, computer vision).
- 8 years of experience with data structures/algorithms.
- 2 years of experience in GenAI (LLM/agent applications and quality).
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.
- Lead junior engineers in AIRRT and also our partner teams through several possibly concurrent rapid, 2-4 week sprints to prototype, analyze, and de-risk emerging AI opportunities and critical pain points.
- Play pivotal role involves driving technical excellence, strategic execution, and people leadership for a high-impact team focused on applying an AI-first mentality to critical business problems.
- Lead forefront of Google's AI transformation within AI2.
- Develop the next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another.
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.
Other
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
- 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.
- Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
