Requirements
- Proven experience building and operating large-scale infrastructure in fast-paced SaaS environments.
- Deep expertise in AWS and a solid understanding of other major cloud providers (Azure, GCP).
- Strong fundamentals in infrastructure primitives like IAM, networking, compute, and storage.
- Demonstrated ability to debug high-complexity issues across cloud, networking, and application layers.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform (or equivalent) and strong IaC discipline.
- Passion for automation—especially in driving platform stability, developer velocity, and cost efficiency.
- Clear understanding of how infrastructure choices impact customer experience and business priorities.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate Atlan’s multi-cloud infrastructure, with a deep focus on AWS (preferred).
- Architect secure, scalable systems using core primitives—IAM, networking, compute, and storage.
- Define and implement modular Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform or equivalent.
- Drive automation across infrastructure and developer workflows to eliminate manual toil.
- Build and maintain observability and alerting pipelines that enable rapid debugging and operational excellence.
- Triage and resolve complex infrastructure problems that impact enterprise customers.
- Develop internal tooling and self-service platforms that empower engineering teams.
