Delinea is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to be the key technical troubleshooter for their Cloud Suite team, addressing complex technical problems in a SaaS product with agents installed across customer servers.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in working in technology based organizations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. Proven track record of solving difficult technical problems.
- Familiarity with web-based security principles and best practices.
- Experience with large codebases and unit testing -- mock frameworks, automation testing, database testing, etc.
- Experience working with client agents used by customers across their server infrastructure
- Experience developing in Go.
- Strong design skills and full software development lifecycle experience required.
Responsibilities
- Tackle hard technical problems in a Saas product with agents installed across Customer servers.
- Troubleshoot and coordinate with Customers and Support on product escalations.
- Provide guidance to subordinates within the latitude of established company policies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to our core technologies.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration within the team.
Other
- 3+ years of experience working with customers on issues and escalations.
- 2+ years of experience running an Agile Sprint team or very strong technical and personal skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with a globally-distributed team. Mastery of English language.

- Location: Preference for being hybrid in the Lehi, UT office, but remote will be considered.
