The Ridgeline Integrations team creates standardized integrations for customers, connecting with a wide variety of vendors. They also own the services and tooling that support integration management within the Ridgeline application, as well as integration platform experience for consultants and customers.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering or integration architecture with a strong record of successful project delivery
- Deep hands-on experience with one or more IPaaS tools such as Workato, MuleSoft, Boomi, or similar platforms
- Expertise in building cloud-native integrations on AWS, Azure, or GCP using serverless or microservice architecture
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, C, or equivalent languages, including experience with APIs, cloud functions, and transformation logic
- In-depth knowledge of data formats (JSON, XML, CSV) and experience with real-time and batch data processing
- Familiarity with integration reliability patterns including retries, backoff, idempotency, and circuit breakers
- Strong automation skills including CI/CD practices and familiarity with automated testing across unit, contract, and end-to-end levels
Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end integration design: Architect, prototype, and build robust, resilient integrations using an IPaaS alongside custom components.
- Define patterns & frameworks: Establish and evolve reusable integration frameworks and API/data‑mapping standards.
- Hands‑on implementation: Participate in and help guide the full lifecycle from requirements and design reviews through implementation, automated testing, and deployment for high‑impact customer integrations.
- Mentor & grow the team: Coach engineers on best practices in integration development, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally: Partner with product, customer‑facing teams, and fellow engineering leaders to translate business needs into scalable integration solutions.
- Drive operational excellence: Build and maintain observability (metrics, dashboards, alerts) and evolve our deployment pipelines to ensure SLAs and rapid iteration.
- Innovate & scale: Identify opportunities to adopt emerging integration technologies, event‑driven patterns, or AI‑assisted transformation to improve reliability and developer productivity.
