Requirements
- Active, visible contributor to the MCP ecosystem
- Strong software engineering skills in Python or TypeScript, with comfort across multiple languages
- Existing relationships within the MCP community
- Proven track record of publicly writing, discussing, reviewing, and helping
- Contributions to the MCP spec or official repositories
- Experience with enterprise integration challenges
- Track record of sustained open source contribution
Responsibilities
- Contributions to the MCP specification and reference implementations
- Building and maintaining open-source MCP servers and tooling
- Participate actively in community discussions, helping others solve problems, and sharing what you learn
- Advise on architecture for exposing Workato connectors as MCP servers
- Help shape our developer experience for MCP
- Identify where Workato can contribute infrastructure or tooling that the domain needs
- Serve as an active, visible contributor to the MCP ecosystem, maintaining strong relationships in the MCP community, while building new bridges.
