Requirements

• Experience with query systems and/or time-series databases
• Experience leading cross-team initiatives in a platform or infrastructure-focused environment
• Experience leading the design and delivery of industry-leading systems

Responsibilities

• Help design, build, and operate the next-generation query systems
• Work closely with adjacent teams operating storage and intake systems
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers across Datadog to build features
• Occasionally be on call for your team’s services, responding to alerts

Other

• 10+ years of relevant engineering experience
• BS/MS/PhD in a scientific field or equivalent experience
