Datadog Notebooks needs a Staff Engineer to lead the development of AI-powered features to enhance user workflows and integrate AI tools seamlessly, enabling users to collaborate with each other and with AI agents.

Responsibilities
Lead the development of high-visibility AI product initiatives
Architect, implement and oversee systems from inception through deployment and delivery to customers
Lead the development, maintenance and growth of key services, APIs and user experiences
Provide technical oversight and leadership across organizational boundaries
Mentor and grow other engineers on the team and beyond
Keep up-to-date with standards and best practices in the rapidly evolving AI landscape
Coordinate with Datadog’s growing set of AI platform teams to better leverage internal tools, and build AI agents that can emulate deep technical expertise.

You have a BS/MS/PhD in a scientific field or equivalent experience
You have 10+ years of relevant engineering experience
