Omada Health is seeking an experienced engineer to join their Platform Engineering team to design, build, and maintain the systems and infrastructure necessary to support Omada's mission of inspiring and engaging people in lifelong health.
Requirements
- 8+ years of working experience designing and building diverse AWS cloud architectures
- Expert experience building and operating Kubernetes clusters
- Deep experience with Terraform and Ansible
- Experience working with Datadog application performance monitoring, custom metrics, and logs
- Comfortable managing, configuring, and troubleshooting persistent virtual Linux hosts and volumes
- Skilled at building, deploying, and orchestrating Docker images and containers.
- Experience managing self-hosted Gitlab
Responsibilities
- You will be part of the development and operation of Omada's digital health program infrastructure.
- You will play a key role building and scaling our platform one piece at a time, supporting our ability to deliver a personalized experience to program participants, and empowering our health coaches to deliver timely and effective interventions
- You will manage high availability services, with a thoughtful approach to designing redundancy and disaster recovery readiness.
- You will work with developers to design and improve developer tooling and capability, such as secrets management with Vault, or cloud development environments.
- You will maintain and enhance our Gitlab CI/CD infrastructure.
- You will mentor and guide the professional and technical development of team members.
- You will collaborate with AI experts to integrate AI into existing systems, seeking their guidance to expand your knowledge and skills.
