AlphaSense needs to build systems that ingest public and private company data from multiple sources, normalizing, deduplicating, and publishing it to every service at AlphaSense that surfaces company information. The team is responsible for ensuring data quality, coverage and timeliness for over 9 million companies worldwide and plans to expand its scope beyond companies to other types of reference data including people, industries, governments, and more.

- 7+ years of software development experience building highly reliable, mission-critical software.
- Strong software engineering skills in back-end engineering on data-intensive applications with professional, real-world experience with applications at scale.
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and implement highly scalable services that solve complex problems.
- Test, review and deploy code quickly.
- Research, learn and share new techniques for solving complex engineering problems.
- Write tools and develop practices for the engineering team.
- Own projects from end-to-end.
- Translate product requirements into software architectures in collaboration with Product Management.
- Implement new data feed ingestions, integrate reference data with downstream systems, and ensure the health of systems that manage large flows of strategically important data relied upon by tens of thousands of users every day.
