NBCUniversal's Data & Analytics group is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to design and deliver complex cloud-based solutions using Salesforce.com and AWS to support their vast portfolio of brands and provide data to advise and shape strategic business decisions.
Requirements
- 8+ years proven track record with end-to-end implementations with the SFDC platform (especially Sales Cloud)
- Experience with development technologies such as Apex/VF, Lightning Web Components, Aura framework, JavaScript, jQuery/Angular/React.
- Integration experience using API technologies (Soap, Rest) and Integration/Middleware tools such as Kafka, Informatica, Tibco, etc.
- Experience in implementing Integration Patterns recommended by Salesforce using appropriate technology.
- Experience with SOQL
- Experience with Test-Driven Development
- Understanding of Release Management, Source Control, CI/CD and Deployment concepts and technologies such as Github, Jenkins, SFDC Metadata API, etc.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for engineering, designing, implementing and testing Salesforce solutions - including writing specifications, design/layout, coding, agile team principles and leadership
- Elegantly bring designs to life using standards-compliant dynamic HTML, CSS, and our internal Javascript MVC framework (Lightning, similar to Angular, React, etc.)
- Champion best practices and guide and influence team on leveraging such practices.
- Ensuring that the system accurately meets the defined expectations of the business, ensuring that proper testing is implemented, and performance and security requirements are closely monitored by working with the project teams.
- Partnership with Architects, Product Management and Technical Product Management in understanding business needs, technical objectives and design considerations
- Communicate status, risks to schedules, and offer mitigation strategies to ensure on-time delivery of all committed projects across the delivery teams
- Partnership with Architect, SFDC Architect and Engineering Peers to implement SFDC within a larger unified ecosystem vision
