Chime's Banking Products team is looking to make Chime the top choice for everyday spending by building innovative, reliable, and member-first financial tools, driving active spend and usage, increasing reliability and availability, and delivering seamless experiences across cards, credit, money movement, deals, and transaction intelligence.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of high-impact, member-facing systems across multiple domains such as Cards, Credit Progress, and Money Movement
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and data scientists to shape product direction and ensure technical feasibility and excellence
  • Set the technical vision for critical systems with a forward-looking, scalable approach that aligns with Chime's goals and reliability standards
  • Identify and solve systemic challenges related to performance, availability, and operational efficiency across the Banking Products stack
  • Mentor senior engineers, elevate engineering practices, and drive consistency in quality, architecture, and code craftsmanship across teams
  • Represent Chime externally through recruiting, open source, technical talks, or community engagement
